Sometimes it just makes more sense if you have real-life examples.  That's why we've made all our ThriveSmart Apps and Themes open-source.

ThriveSmart App Examples

• Simple: simple-h1-tsapp
  Simply displays an H1 tag that the user can edit the text of.  
• Simple: button-tsapp
  Simply displays a button that the user can customize the link and title of.  
• Simple: textile-area-tsapp
  Allows the end-user to edit the text using textile markup , and outputs HTML.  
• Simple: slideshow-tsapp
  Allows the user to create a slideshow of pictures, and add a link and large caption to each one. Advanced nested edit forms.  
• Simple: wysiwyg-area-tsapp
  Allows the user to edit in a WYSIWYG area, powered by TinyMCE .  TinyMCE has been modified to work across domains.  
• Simple: disqus-tsapp
  Embed a Disqus Comment Box on any page.  Stores data per site, rather than just per page.
  
• Simple: google-adsense-tsapp
  Displays a Google AdSense Unit, and stores all the site's units for easy selection on new pages. Stores data per site, rather than just per page.
  
• Simple: google-analytics-tsapp
  Displays and stores one site-wide Google Analytics keys, and lets you add other analytics keys to individual pages. Takes advantage of a builtin ThriveSmart Google Analytics Script.
  
• Medium: navigation-tsapp
  Displays user-created navigation ULs on every single page of a site. Stores data per site, rather than per page.  More sophisticated use of javascript and nested forms.

Theme Hosting Example

• themesagogo
  A simplistic, custom theme host for ThriveSmart Themes.  Allows users add a theme, customize its css and javascript, and upload an icon.  All generated files hosted on Amazon S3.
